The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel.

Oh my God, we're having a fire... sale. Oh, the burning! It burns me! This is some seriously good introspective 2nd wave concept-EP madness. Low slung, high concept, ass-kicking, baleful BM realness of the highest order. Fave song is Prelude cos I'm a sucker for strings, but the whole album is fire. Literally. If you don't buy this you're a Motherboy.
